We regularly and transparently report on our sustainability activities in a sustainability report. In doing so, we highlight both our progress and our challenges - and establish a clear foundation of information.

We participate in the EcoVadis rating annually to systematically assess our sustainability performance, measure progress, and ensure transparency. For the second time, we have been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for our achievements. 

This award is given to the top 5% of companies assessed over the past twelve months and recognizes the quality of our sustainability management. The EcoVadis rating is one of the world’s leading assessments of corporate sustainability. 

The assessment covers the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It evaluates how well sustainability principles are integrated into policies, processes, and reporting.

Our climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). This confirms that our planned emissions reductions are in line with the 1.5 °C goal of the Paris Agreement. 

The SBTi is a globally recognized standard for science-based climate targets. The validation confirms that our decarbonization strategy, is grounded in sound scientific principles and supports our efforts to systematically reduce emissions across the entire value chain.

We report our climate performance annually through CDP and undergo the corresponding assessment. The rating helps us disclose our climate data in a structured manner, make progress measurable, and ensure transparency toward our stakeholders. 

The CDP climate rating is a globally recognized system for disclosing environmental and climate data. It assesses how companies track, manage, and transparently report their climate-related impacts—including in the areas of emissions accounting, targets, governance, risks, and climate strategy.

As a member, we commit to reporting annually on our progress in implementing the ten principles and to continuously advancing our commitment to sustainable development.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest initiative for sustainable and responsible corporate governance and, based on ten principles, supports companies in strategically embedding sustainability and contributing to the achievement of the global Sustainable Development Goals.

Through our company profile, selected stakeholders can view our current ESG-information at any time and gain a well-founded understanding of our sustainability performance.

IntegrityNext is a digital platform for ESG-risk management that helps companies make their sustainability performance transparent, assess risks in the supply chain, and efficiently comply with legal ESG-requirements.

As part of a partnership with KulturLandschaft Günztal, we support biodiversity projects in the region. A wide range of nature conservation and biodiversity projects are being implemented, including measures to create insect-friendly habitats, promote natural grazing, and protect amphibians through the creation of new small water bodies.

For many years, the KulturLandschaft Günztal Foundation has been committed to giving nature more space along the Günz—Bavaria’s longest stream system—and promoting biological diversity. The focus is on establishing a continuous network of biotopes that connects habitats and thus supports the conservation of native animal and plant species.

In 2025, we were recognized by Great Place to Work in the "Germany’s Best Employers", "Bavaria’s Best Employers", and "Allgäu’s Best Employers" competitions. These rankings were based on the results of an anonymous employee survey as well as an analysis of our corporate culture in practice. In particular, the surveyed employees rated trust, fairness, and team spirit positively.
