Governance
Responsible corporate governance forms the foundation of our actions. Through clear structures, transparent reporting, binding compliance processes, and defined requirements for our supply chain, we systematically integrate sustainability considerations into our decisions. In this way, we promote transparency, integrity, and reliability in our business processes and in our interactions with our stakeholders.
Governance structure
Our interdisciplinary, cross-hierarchical governance structure combines strategic steering with operational implementation. The Corporate Sustainability department serves as the coordinating body bridging strategy, operational implementation, and communication across our branches. In the steering committee, we define the long-term direction, while the core team implements measures and carries out our strategy. This structure enables us to embed sustainability as an integral and holistic component of our corporate decisions and to continuously develop it further.
Reporting
Since 2019, we have been transparently sharing our sustainability activities in a regularly published sustainability report. In addition, we report our climate performance annually to the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) and participate in the EcoVadis rating to make our performance measurable, comparable, and trustworthy—especially for our customers.
Integrity
Integrity, fairness, and transparency are the cornerstones of our actions. We adhere to the highest ethical standards and consistently embed them in our processes. In this way, we create a reliable foundation for sustainable business decisions. By joining the UN Global Compact in 2022, we have further underscored our commitment. We thereby pledge to uphold the ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Supply chain
Respect for human rights throughout our value chain is a central concern for us and is documented, among other places, in our Supplier Code of Conduct. Through expanded supplier self-disclosures and supplier evaluations, as well as close collaboration, we foster transparency and comparability. In this way, we promote responsible and forward-looking conduct in our supply chain.
Law & Compliance
For us, legal certainty is not an afterthought but a fundamental prerequisite for responsible business practices. With clearly defined compliance processes and a whistleblowing procedure, we ensure that any reports are addressed transparently and securely. Our legal database keeps all legal requirements up to date and enables us to consistently integrate them into our processes. In this way, we create reliability, transparency, and security - for employees, partners, and all stakeholders alike.
